If only I could turn my heart into pictures and poems,
Only then,
Would I feel myself alive on this Earth.
If only my words would flow like music and my actions dance in silent rhythm,
Only then,
Would I call myself a man.
If only I could see the beauty in the darkness, and the light shining forth from the abyss,
Only then,
Would I know what it is to be human,
If only I could cover my soul in love and truth,
Only then,
Would I say I lived this one life well.
